Abel Tasman Coast Track
Abel Tasman Coast Track is one of my favorite Tracks in New Zealnad. However some people might hate it, because there are lots of people except trampers. They are group of kayakers and family campers come by motorboat and often they are noisy.
Especially near Anchorage Hut is Awful!The camping ground is like a motorcamp. Some family piched very big tent and cooking gorgeous dinner, a lot of cold beer & wine, Children play football etc. That atmosphere is not scene of a tramping.
Anyway, The Track runs along beautiful coastline. Most part of track is on hill looking down sea over the forest. Sometimes we walk sandy beach and across low tide inlets. The view of cost line is so beautiful like a view of pacific islands.
If you like quiet places, between Totaranui and Wainui is quieter than another part. Normally people skip this section, but I think there is real Abel Tasman Coast Track on the section.
